If Wednesday is the rest stop on a long journey, Thursday is the moment you get back on the road with renewed energy. Thursday is the week’s second Monday—a chance to reflect on feedback, adjust your plan if needed, and refine your work before Friday arrives. And if you can finish your core tasks today, even better.
A well-managed Thursday is the guarantee that you’ll enter Friday with a light heart. And a light heart often makes space for new ideas to appear. (The downside is that sometimes I can’t resist exploring those ideas on Saturday—but that’s play, not work.)
I believe the essential work of the week should be completed by Thursday. That gives you time to explore new ideas. New ideas are what make us different—they bring excitement, challenge, and the joy of creation. But no one wants us to create new things if the fundamentals aren’t done.
For me, Thursday is the key to a different kind of life.
