If a week were a long road trip, Wednesday would be the halfway point—the moment to pull over, stretch your legs, refuel, grab a coffee with the people travelling alongside you, and reflect on how far you’ve come. It’s when you check how much closer you are to your destination. If the journey matters as much as the destination, Wednesday is the truest symbol of that journey.
I use Wednesdays to pause and create space between myself and the things I created on Monday and Tuesday. Ideas need time to settle. This is when I meet teammates, ask for feedback, and explore how my work affects them and our customers. I learn from what others are building and collect ideas for the road ahead.
Like exercise, rest is when the real growth happens. Wednesday works the same way—it’s the midweek moment when we stop burying our heads in tasks, look up, reconnect with people, see where we are, and understand the impact we’re making.
The fastest way to grow sustainably is to go slow.
